Out West poem

The snow on the back of bison

On the first day of summer

The camper was smelly

But the bunk beds were fun

The ice cream was yummy

On a day it was sunny

The hot springs were the colors of the rainbow

Tried to go fishing

But that didn’t work

So we rode horses on the mountain side

When we finished our backs were ach’n, so we ate some bacon

We climbed a mountain all the way to the top

Stepped in moose poop and buffalo pies

Slept in hammocks

Played in creeks

And found cool rocks to keep

Flew down a mountain on a coaster

Climbed a hill and saw our campsite

In a valley not far from us, a herd of Elk grazed in the sun

On a scenic drive eating ice cream, a mother black bear and two little cubs

In a field, ground squirrels popped out of their burrows

Geysers sprayed us in Yellowstone Park

In the woods, I found a bone of a mule deer

At the nature center,  the bison horn was heavy
