One project/goal I did was make a crystal radio out of scrap pieces in your home. I made sure I placed everything in the right spots, make sure the wires weren’t touching, made sure the diode was facing the right way, and sanded all of the ends of the wires. But in the end the radio does not work. I tried to make it again but it would still not work. we tried making a new antenna hanging crossed our yard and we even tried using the ground connection in an outlet on the wall. but none of it worked the crystal radio only picked up a little bit of sound .5 seconds. I never picked up anymore.
I don’t really know why it didn’t work, but it might have been because the antenna was touching the window which might interfere with the signal.The Crusaders try to win lots of battles but failed in all but 1. when I put my crystal radio it didn’t work no matter how many times I tried. Once, for .5 seconds, I caught the signal. I had failed all times except once just like the Crusaders did when they were fighting the Muslims over the Holy Land. I only got half of what I was supposed to out of that project like the Crusaders did in the Third Crusade where they did not conquer the holy land, but made a peace treaty with the Muslims.
