The Romans and The Celts

Some differences between the Romans and the Celts are the government. The romans had a very strong government. The celts had no form of government but followed their family/clan rules. Another difference is the celts mined for salt while The Romans mined for metals in every part of their empire. They sought both utilitarian metals such as iron, copper, tin, and lead, and the precious metals gold and silver. The romans army was called the legion but the celtic army was called a Gaul. they both had major inventions, the Romans made the first roads and the celts made the first soap.

Some similarities are the fact that they both had a clear leader, the roman leader is called a emperor. They both venerated skill in fighting. Both had different tasks according to their skills. Both had multiple gods that they worshiped. They both used slaves to build things. They both used chariots for important people.
